                                          GF Airsoft Arena ZOMBIE Rules

 

 As part of our ever changing scenarios, GF Airsoft Arena will be hosting ZOMBIE games on a regular basis. The following rules will apply for these events.

 

 

 

Scenario Overview:

 

The GF Corporation has developed a new virus for the U.S. Military. During a routine test procedure the virus has been released into the facility and the staff locked inside has been turned into flesh eating ZOMBIES.  Now GF has sent their security force into the facility to terminate the ZOMBIE population and gather the materials needed to "Lock Down" the site.

 

Game Rules:

 

Zombies: The objective of being a Zombie is to turn the security force members into the un-dead. Zombies can do this by tagging (Touching) a security force member on any part of the body. Once a security member is taged, he will move to the re-spawn point and become a Zombie.

1.       Zombies will not be allowed to carry any guns. They may carry every day objects such as shovels or bats made of soft foam (Objects MUST be approved before being brought on the filed of play)

2.       Each Zombie will wear a target made of a small aluminum plate on their chest

3.       When a Zombie is shot in the plate he will freeze for 1 minute and then make his way back to the re-spawn point.

4.       After reaching the re-spawn point Zombies may return to the game immediately.

5.       Zombies may re-spawn 3-5 times (Re-spawns will be determined on game day) before being considered permanently terminated.

6.       Zombie movement is restricted to a slow shuffle or walk.

 

Security Forces: The objective for the security force is to terminate all the Zombies on the field. This can be done in 1 of 2 ways. 1) Permanently terminate all the Zombies using gun fire. 2) Find the materials need to "Lock Down" the facility. The security forces will be briefed on their mission specifics prior to the start of each game.

1.       Security force members will be allowed to use only shotguns or pistols unless otherwise mentioned in their mission briefing. (i.e. meeting certain objectives may "Unlock" an AEG)

2.       Security forces will only be allowed to carry a limited amount of ammo when the game begins (Extra ammo can be earned by meeting certain mission objectives)

3.       Security forces can only "Kill" a zombie with an approved weapon.

4.       To kill a Zombie the security forces must hit the zombies heart (Small metal pie plate on Zombies Chest)

5.       Security force members will wear a glow stick or other device that identifies them as a security member. This simulates a Zombies ability to smell human blood.

6.       If tagged (Touched) by a Zombie the security force member becomes one of the un-dead. The team member will make their way to the Zombies re-spawn point and be given their own target to wear.

7.       If converted to the un-dead the new Zombie will not tell any other Zombie what their teams mission objectives were.

8.       Security Force movement is not restricted in any way. However, please keep safety in mind while running for your life. 

 

 

 

Zombies and Security force teams will be picked prior to the start of the game. Team size will depend on the number of players present on game day. Everyone will get the chance to play on both sides.
